Paul Dempsey (pictured) of Something For Kate has made a name for himself as a solo artist in the last year with his album Everything Is True, which debuted at number five on the ARIA chart. He’s embarking on a final headline tour of the country in April before heading over to base himself in New York while trying to crack the American market, in the grand Australian tradition, for the rest of the year. You can catch him at the Great Northern, Byron Bay, on Thursday Apr 15 and The Hi-Fi on Friday Apr 16.
