Organisers of The Lost Weekend Festival have responded to punter lethargy and changed the set-up for the inaugural event. No longer to be held out at Peak’s Crossing, and no longer camping, the abridged line-up takes Brisbane’s Riverstage and Botanic Gardens on Saturday Mar 6 and Sunday Mar 7. Those with pre-bought tickets will be contacted by the festival with options, but newly keen attendees can purchase individual day, or two-day passes ($150+bf). Saturday Mar 6 sees The Brian Jonestown Massacre (pictured), Gyroscope, British India, Dirty Projectors, Paul Dempsey, Nashville Pussy, and The Drones play ($100+bf); while Sunday Mar 7 sees Dinosaur Jr, Tumbleweed, Butterfingers, Deerhoof, The Mess Hall, The Thermals and Clare Bowditch perform ($75+bf). The line-up creases are still being ironed out, so stay tuned for further updates.
