The Happening is a celebration surf culture and community sliding into Brisbane’s Zoo on Sunday Mar 28. Featuring Brushfire Records’ musicians Matt Costa (pictured), Zee Avi, Neil Halstead and Will Conner, filmmakers George Greenough, Chris and Emmett Malloy also feature alongside a preview of 180° South and The White Stripes’ Under Great White Northern Lights. Contemporary artists from The Surf Gallery (Laguna Beach, California) will also be on display. Tickets for this multi-media celebration of the long and short boards cost $38+bf through regular outlets and are available Friday Feb 19.
