Legends of Oz rock the Hoodoo Gurus (pictured) have recorded their ninth (ninth!) studio album, Purity Of Essence (also Rave’s Album Of The Week this issue), and are touring around Australia to celebrate. In support are surf rockers The Break, featuring Rob Hirst, Martin Rotsey and Jim Moginie from Midnight Oil along with Brian Ritchie from the Violent Femmes. They play the Hi-Fi on Thursday Apr 29.
