Event organiser Cass Love from Press Record had this to say about the event, “We've tried to create an event that will give the young artists the confidence to take their talents even further in coming years. We've chosen acts from all around SE QLD including Cleveland, Brisbane and Logan from a variety of genres for the enjoyment of all.”
“We're really excited to be playing this event. It's a great idea! There are so many young and talented bands out their waiting to be discovered, but they're rarely given a change to play,” lead singer Jess Simo-swer (Rawr Vanity) said of 'The Lost Weekend Showcase'.
