For Gold Coast rock outfit Shadow Thieves, the evolution continues with the change of name from Enacio to Shadow Thieves in 2009, a new found maturity in their songs and the addition of a fourth member to the band Cassidy Wilson on keyboards. "The past year and a half has been a big learning curve for us" states Shadow Thieves front man Matt Buckley, "Bringing in Cassidy has been a great move towards our capability. We have tested the water and it works for us. Now we have some great shows coming to deliver our new line up to the public for both 18+ audiences on the Gold Coast and Brisbane with two all ages gigs on the Gold Coast.
Performing BDO (under the Enacio banner) and Fresh Fest last year gave us the chance to watch bands like COG, The Butterfly Effect, Spiderbait and rock legend Kevin Borich close up side of stage and this helped us realise where we had to be.
Shadow Thieves will be performing 2nd May at The Surfers Festival with You Am I, Bertie Blackman and others then on the 18th June at The Step Inn Brisbane with Full Scale and Jerrico, 19th June at The Cooly with the same bill and on the 12th June a Secret Show all ages gig on the Gold Coast specifically for the regions youth.
