Cousin Love Sept 22-25 Cousin Love is a play about an inbred family who have been surviving off the profits of 'Granma's Incredible Titty Milk' out in the sticks until a tragedy involving a pig forces them to relocate to the city. This is schlock horror theatre at its best, utilizing sketch comedy, sideshow stunts, prosthetics, and filthy dance numbers. Be there through the highs and lows, the sacrifice and heartbreak of this strange and volatile family. Along the way pick up some great party tricks for the bedroom and some new cooking tips! Over its twenty two days, over 100 artists from 26 different companies will take over the venues at Metro Arts and spill through the CBD of Brisbane. The UNDER THE RADAR artist’s work has a strong interdisciplinary flavour which pushes the boundaries of art, decency, laughter and thought for both the artists and audience. Be surprised as artists shape shift the CBD streets, play with carnies in The Cage, get lost in frighteningly magical installations, or be moved by soulful stories told through song.
