After the recent release of Together, their fifth collection of sublime power-pop tunes, Canada’s New Pornographers (pictured) return to Brisbane, playing The Zoo on Tuesday Nov 9. The septet (yes, Neko Case is coming too – sadly Dan Bejar remains at home) have strengthened their multi-layered pop with AC Newman penning the songs and returning to shared vocal duties with Case. The LP also features Zach Condon (Beirut), Annie Clark (St. Vincent), Will Sheff (Okkervil River) and the horn players from Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings. Tickets hit regular outlets from Friday Aug 27.
