On Friday 3^rd of September local electronic/pop act “pigeon” release there first two track out into the world. The two songs (Apex & Shadow Spectrum ft. Kitch) are the first two songs from “pigeon” and will be available on the bands myspace - www.myspace.com/pigeonsite

Both songs will also appear on a debut EP from the band planned for late 2010.

'Pigeon' represent a meeting point of organic and electronic music to form a collabortaion of genres from electro-pop and world music to drum 'n' bass and hip-hop. The aural palette of mind manipulating sound pleasure acts as a catalyst for a unique party atmosphere and will leave you craving a cigarette and a sleep.

The band formed in early 2010 when a group of musicians sporting vastly differing musical backgrounds, joined forces to create an earful of tasty textural treats. Combining jazz musicians with electronic artists, DJ's and rock musicians, Pigeon are an eclectic treat for a new modern audience that crave diversity in every song.

Pigeon also boast a live show that creates a party vibe and is a fiesta not to be missed nor forgotten. Lively and visually entrancing, the band will captivate you from the moment they walk on stage until you give in to the urge to dance, drink and be merry.
