Gareth Liddiard (pictured) has spent his downtime from The Drones penning some new songs – in solo format. Writing and recording his debut solo album, Strange Tourist, in rural New South Wales (Yass to be exact) Liddiard has extracted an explosive yet naked collection of songs. He launches the album in Brisbane at the picturesque Old Museum on Friday Nov 19 and tickets are $25.50+bf from OzTix. Strange Tourist is out Friday Oct 1.
