Beautiful, clever and satisfying

Brisbane duo Words Versing Verses have created something quite special with their debut EP. You couldn’t ask for a better opener in the track Colours, as their unique songwriting will not only keep you interested, but also craving more. Track two, Signs We’re Still Alive, is the clear stand-out on the EP with its very lovely guitar track and addictive chorus. Their influences do become a little clearer as the EP moves towards it’s conclusion with pictures of Dallas Green coming into my mind, especially during Warriors. With Words Versing Verses consisting of ex-Avalon Drive vocalist, Damion Page, I was quite surprised to hear how his voice had matured over the last few years. That alone makes Words Versing Verses a band you need to hear.
