Brisbane up-and-comers launch ‘Mr Delphian’ with a two-state mini tour

Massai are planning to launch their second EP ‘Mr Delphian’ by embarking on a short, but oh-so sweet tour with dates in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle and Sydney.

After launching the first single ‘I Don’t Wanna Get Old’ in May, with the help of a small orchestra to a packed Brisbane Powerhouse, the band have been busy putting the final touches on the follow up to last year’s ‘Sisyphus & the Fall of the Literary Giants’.

To accompany the hard work they have been putting in musically, the Massai boys have created something extra special for fans that attend the tour.

The band have been slaving away creating special books which feature poetry from Robert Burns, an 18th century Scottish poet famous for starting the Romantic movement. Other fun and quirky inclusions can be found in the specially crafted books, but you will just have to get your hands on one to find out.

The band wanted to create something a little bit extra for fans, and make the launch of ‘Mr Delphian’ more valuable and memorable.

“The books have taken many a working-bee, have tested the band’s talents with craft, and made us quite acquainted with the ladies at Spotlight, but we think we have come up with something a little different, and kind of cool,” band member Steve Moloney said.

“We’re excited about bringing the new EP down to Newcastle and Sydney, as we’ve never played in those places before. Hopefully people like what they hear and we can grow our fan base a bit more down south.”
