A favourite in her own shire of Byron Bay and local radio Bay FM, Rebecca is delivering beautiful and dynamic shows solo as well as with her band, 'The Old Souls', of whom bassist, Thierry Fossemalle (Whitlams, Grace Knight), will be joining her for the Melbourne tour. 'Love & Sticky Tape' is a reflection of Rebecca's authenticity and is somewhat a mosaic of her life so far, delving into the flavors of contemporary folk, soul, blues and rock. Her lyrics paint pictures as her gorgeous guitar rolls out the grooves but it's the rich soulful palette of her vocal that delivers the songs to your heart. Ireland says, "Love & Sticky Tape was recorded and mixed in16 track analogue and it really makes everything you lay down a true performance. You have one chance to paint the song! I was so lucky to have great musicians like drummer, Pete Wilkins (Blue King Brown) and veteran producer and session player, Geoff Wright to work with. They really believed in my songs and arrangements and helped me to grow as an artist". www.rebeccaireland.com.au
