January 9, 2012 – Need something refreshing this week?Then make your way to Snitch at X&Y Bar in Fortitude Valley on January 12th to catch Awaken I Am headline with supports from For This Cause, Ladies and Gentlemen, Bellhaven and Deadlights (acoustics)!
Fresh off their support show with USA's Lydia, pop/rock outfit Awaken I Am are fully charged and ready to give Brisbane it's first show of the year! Their insightful, perceptive lyrics and heartfelt, energetic music can be embraced by listeners of multiple genres, which is why they are known to draw fans from a variety of bases, including rock, hardcore, alternative and indie.
It has been a big week for Brisbane's For This Cause as well, who announced their signing with Japan's Zestone Records and kicked off their international Oceanic Tour.
Both Sydney's Ladies and Gentlemen and Melbourne's Belle Haven have made the long journey to Brisbane to support. And as if that wasnt enough, Brisbane's Deadlights will be playing an acoustic set in the Atticus beer garden after the main show.
