In the buildup to the release of his debut solo album "Atami", Matthew Hoffman is set to unleash the promotional single "The Blame Game" to radio this week.
The new song will premiere this thursday on 4zzz's Diversa - Tea and Talk Show during a live interview with Hoffman.
Released by independent label Lempicka Records, the single is a further exploration of the eclectic guitar and synth based offerings of last years "Ginza" EP. "The Blame Game" will feature two b-sides: "She" - a slow, 60's inspired track; and a live performance of "Let it Bleed" performed at last Octobers launch of "Ginza".
To promote "Atami", Hoffman - accompanied by keyboardist Eri Kimura, - will also join the "Strummers Sessions" at the Calypso Bar on Sunday the 15th of April to present an intimate acoustic set. For more information please visit www.myspace.com/matthewhoffman.
