SixFtHicks whirlwind tour of Europe last year netted them a deal with French vinyl-only label Beast records. The band are launching their first release for Beast (and raising funds for their next Euro-jaunt) , a 5 song 12 inch EP, at The Troubador on Friday 14th September with the Loene Carmen Band and the Young Doctors.

The EP has 2 new SixFtHick songs and cover versions of X's "The Feel", Lubricated Goat's "NerveQuake" and Beast of Bourbon's "Hard for you".

SixFtHicks '07 tour of Europe (which takes in the Netherlands, Germany, France and Spain and includes shows with Beasts of Bourbon) kicks off in mid-October in support of the release of the  Beast Records EP and the new album "On the rocks" for Melbourne based label Spooky records. "On the Rocks" will be available in Australia early November with launch shows happening on the east-coast upon the bands return from OS.
