I think I may be a ‘hater’ I try to give an album at least three listens before I review it, you know? Give it time to settle in my brain and show my ears its lasting charms and also which songs will get bloody annoying after the second listen. This swaggeringly obnoxiously titled album is one I’m struggling to do that with, it’s just that bad. But for the sake of Journalism, I’ll do it. See how I suffer for you? So there’s this Brad Strut guy and if that is his real name then respect for not calling himself something daft like MC Hummus. Anyway, Brad Strut is hardcore and he really wants you to know it. Even when he’s rapping about Monopoly he’s all, Fuck it / roll the dice, son. That would be really funny, if he wasn’t so serious that I just feel sorry for him. Brad Strut, the world contains both sunshine and lollipops. Let some into your heart! JODY MACGREGOR
