MEN into SPACE Ready for Launch at Custom Rockabilly

In the 1950s, as rock'n'roll was dawning, man threw off the shackles of gravity and conquered space travel. MEN into SPACE is a group of such men. Men who have explored the furthest reaches of outer space and are ready to rock, rock, rock here on Earth.

MEN into SPACE will be launching their first earth performance at the upcoming Custom Rockabilly night at The Troubadour on July 8. MEN into SPACE feature Captain John 'Comet' McCauley on upright bass, Astronaut Dan Ray on electric guitar and Engineer Lance Link on back beat.

The MEN into SPACE song list is inspired from the era of the Sputnik and their stage set could be from a B-grade space movie. "We use many items from the space ship in our show. Our instruments have been custom designed for space travel and we play in our space suits and helmets..., you never know when you have to play in a venue with no atmosphere" remarked Space Captain McCauley.

The show will be supported by earthly entertainers, The Rumble Kings, Brandi & The Badcats and DJ Lori Lee.  The show will also be the first time Brandi & The Badcats have played the Troubadour, so be sure to get yourself along to see all these great bands.

MEN into SPACE are actively inducting earth humans to their way of life and they will have a cluster of believers in attendance in full space regalia at the show. If you have ever wanted to explore new galaxies, then dust off your space outfit or plonk a fishbowl on your head to get into character and add to the space atmosphere at the MEN into SPACE show.
