This trip will leave you high Tijuana Cartel set the pace with this vigorously spirited compilation of exotic beats and outlandish flamenco. Gold Coast’s own dynamic duo, Paul George and Carey O’Sullivan – from their commended Audio Shaman project – team up with percussionist Daniel Gonzale and MC/DJ Regan Hoskins to create a tantalizing foreign affair. Dominated by fierce flamenco and colourful slide guitar riffs, Frequent Flyers-Redeemed is unlike anything you’ve heard. The first track Kanned Arabs is captivating with its enchanting gypsy-like rhythm and chants. Bringing the album back to native territory for a split second, Sounds Of Then is the group’s cover of the Gangajang classic. All 12-tracks have a pumping bass so in-your-face, it rivals that of Fedde le Grand, but with the wholesomeness of profoundly poetic social commentary. Get ready for the trip of a lifetime.
