For Immediate Publication July 12th 2006. nightillion There have been a lot of changes afoot in the nightillion camp with the departure of drummer Nathan Watson. nightillion wish Nathan all the best in his travels and look forward to him coming along as a guest percussionist in the future. This makes way for welcoming Luke Williamson to the title of skin hitter for the girls. All of this, however, could not dampen the momentum built up by nightillion with their hectic live schedule of late. Kicking off this month they played the Beyond the Night benefit July 2nd at the Alley with FAQ and 8Ball Aitken, backing up two nights later at Ric’s and then a week later at the Students of Sustainability conference at UQ with Kafka and Moot. The second half of the month looks just as busy for the gang with a spot at the industry day Roots by the River at East Brisbane Bowls Club July 29th (www.rootsbytheriver.com) and a spot at the Thawed Out Festival at the Waterloo July 30th with Giants of Science, The Gin Club, Mess Hall and Drag.
