Well Brisbane power pop outfit Halfday's new album is finally in the can and thousands of Oompa Loompas are busily packaging it as we speak. So now its time for a long awaited gig, we think.
Halfday singer songwriter Nathan Lockwood has put together a shiny new lineup for Halfday (a 5 piece band, no less!) which showcases the new album's eclectic sounds brilliantly . New additions to the lineup are Phil Hagstrom on keys and Dave Gaylard on guitar with mainstays John Hamilton on drums and Morgan Wilson on bass. Come and see for yourself this Thursday evening the 3rd April at Barsoma in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley. Cost is only $7 and for that you also get local rockers The Sunburys and The Westminsters thrown in as steak knives.Doors open 8pm
Playing times: 8:30pm The Westminsters 9:30pm Halfday 10:30pm The Sunburys
Venue: Barsoma, 22 Constance St, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane
