Recorded in Nashville with engineer and producer Mark Nevers (Lambchop, Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy), Holly Throsby is preparing to launch her third LP – A Loud Call – in July. The album features a number of guest appearances from members of Lambchop, Palace, and The Silver Jews alongside Holly’s regular cohorts Bree van Reyk and Jens Birchall. Though the album isn’t out for a few months, Throsby will be playing a few key East Coast dates to give fans a sample. The Brisbane taste test will happen Thursday Jun 5 at The Troubadour, with tickets costing $18+bf or $20 on the door.
