He’s remixed The Crystal Method and Beyonce, and even though he comes from Ontario, STA (pronounced ‘star’) has carved a bit of a niche thanks to prominent praise from the blogs (mainly IHeartComix, Discobelle and Fluokids). His mix tapes and sometimes incriminating ramblings can be located at stafree.blogspot.com and if you like what you hear, you may just like to get to one of his sparkling DJ nights. The Empire will host STA for Lick It, Friday May 23.
