Most early comers are getting in as many drinks as possible upstairs as Coue Method put in an awesome, tight set that grabs the attention of every person with a drink in their hand. Featuring members of Mid Youth Crisis/One Inch Punch and Blueline Medic, these guys demand your goddamn respect. Their debut album has just dropped and we can only hope they return here soon.

Crime In Stereo from Long Island New York are up next. I love these guys and their hardcore meets Brand New/ Movielife sound, playing nearly every damn song off their brand new album Crime In Stereo Is Dead, the only thing? I wish they would play some of their older material, oh well. Their drummer is also a robot who never misses a beat. Ever!

Dressed in black (as always) Against Me! take the stage and start to play what seems like 500 songs in a row with no break. Downstairs is the fullest it has been all night and every word is sung along in unison by the energetic (and by this stage drunk-ish) crowd. This is what Against Me! is all about: punk rock and enjoying the shit out of it. I also notice the Crime In Stereo drummer singing along and drinking a beer, hence destroying my rumours of him being a robot.
