Straddling the Franco-Anglo divide (and trust us there is one) The Teenagers (pictured) create lovely, and often divisive, synthpop. The trio of Michael Szpiner, Dorian Dumont and Quentin Delafon have been turning heads since 2005, with their Homecoming track and have since gone on to remix Air, NYPC and Chromeo. Nice. All the cool kids will be gathered at The Met, singing along to Reality Check tracks when The Teenagers play Thursday Jun 12. Just make sure you look pretty, cause Sydney’s Flying Foxes and Melbourne’s ZZZ support. Tickets hit Oztix Friday.
1. Written by Will, on 15-06-2008 21:03 , IP: 122.104.143.49 I was there. For an average (that’s just my opinion) they put on a hell of a show. I recommend you go if the chance strikes and make sure you’re well liquored up and on the barrier for the full experience. Such a great night thank you teenagers! |
