A lot of heavier sounds seem to come from the northern climes – take for example Sweden’s Opeth (pictured), who return to Australia in September playing The Arena Sunday Sep 7. Blending their signature metal, prog, rock and ‘free form jazz’ (!) they’ll be showcasing tracks off their forthcoming Watershed release. Tickets for this licensed all ages event hit regular outlets Friday.
