It only seems like yesterday that Victorian hardcore pack Carpathian were in Brisbane, playing to intensely eager fans at Soundwave despite the late running time. But they’re back soon in what we can only assume will be a much better organised tour. Moving forward from their fluid line-up to form a solid five-piece, the band will release the album Isolation in late July. Our general area is one of the first places on their itinerary, as they’ll play an all ages gig at Byron Bay High School on July 30 and The Princess Theatre the night after with Break Even and The Broderick (not Matthew). Tickets go on Sale June 11 from www.resistrecords.com.
