Troy MacCubbin is already an international star in his own right as the sexy lead guitarist for Russian group, t.A.T.u.
The group enjoys superstar status around the world and Troy has become a firm fan favourite with hundreds of fan related sites and groups dedicated solely to him across the internet.
Now Troy MacCubbin, releases his debut single, "Never Walk Away"”, and his adoring fans around the globe are indulging in this smouldering slice of rock perfection!!
Hailing from Traralgon in Victoria, Australia – Troy quit his apprenticeship as a fitter & turner/machinist and caught a plane for the bright lights of Hollywood to fulfill his dream of become a credible musician. In March 1997, Troy stepped off the bus from the airport, and thought “what the hell have I gotten myself into?”
He burned through his savings quickly and worked every job he could to survive including delivering flowers, modeling swimwear to impersonating Austin Powers for movie releases! Being the proud Aussie, he stuck to his guns and slowly but surely started to land music gigs. His break came after former Beach Boy, Phil Bardowell, recruited him as lead guitarist and back up singer for his original project. He then joined the band Life Death & Giants which was approached by Interscope Records in 2003 to play for their hot new act, t.A.T.u.
Since then, Troy has been living his dream of touring the world a certified rock star! He’s appeared on Jay Leno, MTV TRL Live, the MTV Movie Awards as well as just recently performing to thousands at the Cannes Film Festival. He's also worked with other chart topping artists including Enrique Iglesias and Kelly Clarkson.
The dream continues for Troy MacCubbin with the release of “Never Walk Away” which has been featured on ABC's popular Rage program and is gathering airplay around Australia.
