Coming from a country famous for foisting it's people on the hospitality of other nations, Irish singer-songwriter ALAN BOYLE has decided to call Australia home and has been making a bit of a dent in the local scene with a series of gigs in Caxton Street's BOHEMIA BAR. Despite being in Brisbane a short time he's been busy making a nuisance of himself with appearances at the Woodford Folk Festival, Brisbane Library and the Zillmere Multiclutural Festival, and took out the Acoustic In The Park series last year. If solid guitar-playing, soaring jagged vocals and a bit of gratuitous swearing is your thing, you can catch him every Thursday and Sunday evening this month.
